Neha has joined the India Research Center as Deputy Director with the aim to achieve the strategic goals of the Center of research, training and knowledge translation and communication, with a focus on collaboration and creation of new projects on public health in India.
She joins us from GIZ (German Development Cooperation—a German government foundation) and has a decade-long experience of developing and implementing value-added programs for transformative change of projects with a focus on management and coordination in public health projects in India.
She has worked with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and GIZ in conceptualization and execution of programs, managing complex milestones while adapting to changes and shifting priorities of different stakeholders. She has implemented strategic initiatives to fulfill the program objectives with her contribution to conceptualization, implementation, administration, budgeting and contracting, monitoring and coordination in the key initiative – Professional Program for Health Protection. The program established program management units across the country and supported more than 20 State Governments for supporting the country-wide implementation of the largest health insurance scheme in India.
She has also supported and led international, cross-functional teams in delivering strategic initiatives to improve systems, processes through implementation of varied projects in countries like Nigeria, India, Uganda, Pakistan and Brazil.
