The Longwood Medical Area Network (LMANet) will undergo routine maintenance on Wednesday, April 8 from 10:30PM-11:00PM.
HUIT (Harvard University IT) does not anticipate any impact to connectivity during this event. In the unlikely event of an unexpected issue, the HUIT Network Team and SPH IT Team are on standby.
As part of Harvard’s effort to provide full 100 gigabit (Gbs) network connectivity across the University to better support big data and research activities, this work is one step in making available 100Gbs.
HUIT is upgrading one of the Internet connections at the 1 Summer Street Data Center from 10Gbs to 100Gbs.
There is no expected interruption to Internet connectivity as HUIT does this work.
