Harvard University’s Secure File Transfer Service, powered by Accellion Kiteworks, will be upgraded on Thursday, October 8 between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM Eastern time.
Impacts to users:
· The Accellion Kiteworks service will be unavailable during the upgrade.
· Changes to the user interface:
- Under message options, there is now an option to receive notification when a file attachment expires by selecting “Notify me when file attachments expire”.
- Consistent with other email clients, there is now an “Outbox” that allows the sender to see which messages they sent are being processed or otherwise not yet sent.
