We are pleased to welcome Beth Vargas to the field services team.
Beth earned her bachelor of fine arts in animation from Lesley University and a master of science in library information science and technology from Simmons University.
Prior to joining Harvard, she spent ten years as a library assistant at Wentworth Institute of Technology providing excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and artistic expertise.
Beth is a Boston area native and frequently drops her r’s in conversation.
She enjoys the everyday challenges and learning opportunities afforded by working in IT—especially in such a hands-on position as a technician in Field Services—as well as being able to do her part in supporting those who strive to improve public health and fight the global pandemic.
Interesting Facts: Beth enjoys writing stories about video games, reading supernatural thrillers with sassy female leads, watching anime, and gaming. She is also prone to making puns…and will laugh harder as you groan at them.
