On Friday, February 26th at 6:30 am, there will be a power shutdown in FXB to test emergency power in the BSL-3 on the 4th Floor.
This shutdown will impact the following:
- FXB All Floors (B, G, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) – Normal Power
- SPH-2 Floors 1, 2, & HCCM Barrier Mouse Facility – Normal Power
HSPH Operations is anticipating a shutdown of no longer than 30 Minutes. During the shutdown, there will be a 15-second delay when switching from normal to emergency power and the switch back to normal power. All sensitive electronics (laptops/computers, lab equipment) should be powered off. The buildings will be operating on normal power by no later than 7:00 AM.
FMO operators & electricians will be on-site monitoring all systems along with Siemens Controls monitoring the building management system.
