Paulina Acosta is an Instructional Technology Assistant on the Academic Technology team. She supports staff and students through assisting them with the questions they may have regarding educational technology, while also making sure that the everyday technology is set up nicely and working well.
Paulina is currently a rising third year at Northeastern University studying Computer Science and Design. She enjoys walking along the Esplanade, finding new dessert recipes to try out, and watching random shows and videos on Netflix and YouTube.
Jahmoni Campbell is a YearUp intern that brings us 6 months of IT skills that he has developed during his time spent at Roxbury Community College. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, traffic-free drives, and exploring new music. He is excited to make new discoveries that could help create a career path for him in the future.
Diego Castillo is currently working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University. His interest in IT began in high school when he would help his professor troubleshoot the computers around campus. He hopes to use his knowledge to support those at the T.H. Chan School of Public Health and develop his skills in IT and customer service. Diego is from Houston, Texas, and has lived in Boston for the past 2 years. In his free time, he enjoys practicing his cooking skills and watching United States soccer.
Kraig Larson is a YearUp student and an aspiring cybersecurity analyst. Currently, he is studying for certifications. He has always wanted to learn how to code. Recently, he took it upon himself to download an application for it, which is teaching him the basics of Python coding. He plans on taking the CompTIA A+ test by the end of June. Next, he is going to take the network and security certifications, which will help prepare him for the cybersecurity field.
Patrick Yu is a rising third-year at Northeastern University studying a Computer Science + Business combined major. He has enjoyed all things technology starting from a young age when he built his own PC at 15. Ever since then, he has enjoyed using technology and is always the go-to person for teachers and friends for tech-related things. He likes to play video games, listen to music, play the piano, watch anime, and read books/manga. He also enjoys going for walks and playing with his 2 cats.
