June is a research data analyst in the Nutrition Department at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health. She graduated with a BS in Biology from UMASS Amherst and an MPH in Epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.
June’s career began supporting the cardiovascular disease care continuum at the state level. She moved on to the private sector monitoring CMS reportable measures for a local hospital system. As an independent consultant, June worked on projects ranging from documenting health facility infrastructure in African countries to evaluating stroke discharge disparities among New England hospitals. Most recently, June led the analysis for the FlavorRx study which linked food insecure populations with health care providers who supplied “prescriptions” to local farmer’s markets in exchange for healthy local fruits and vegetables.
June is currently part of the PROSPECT study. She will study lifestyle, psychosocial factors, and chronic conditions among Puerto Rican adults in the midst of a fragile post-Maria infrastructure.
