The background of participants was quite heterogeneous, although most participants were students or faculty from departments/centers at UI.
Instructors
Dr. Oyindamola Bidemi Yusuf is a lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria. She is a fellow in the first cohort of the McGoldrick Professional Development Program in Public Health. She led the organization of the UI M&E Workshop.
Dr. Angela Chukwu, a senior lecturer and Acting Head of the Department of Statistics at the University of Ibadan. She was a co-instructor of the UI ME Workshop (for Cohort 1) and was a member of the Organizing Committee.
Professor Joel Babatunde Babalola, an econometrician and member of the Faculty of Education at the University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria. He was also a co-facilitator of the UI M&E Workshop (for Cohort 1).
Dr. Oyamakin Oluwafemi, a lecturer in the UI Department of Statistics and a co-facilitator / member of the Organizing Committee for the UI ME Workshop for Cohort 1).
Dr. Adesola Zaidat Musa, a biostatistian and head of the M&E Unit at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research in Lagos. She was also a co-facilitator of the UI M&E Workshop (for Cohort 1).
Dr Joshua Akinyemi is a senior lecturer in the Department of Epidemiology and Medical Statistics at the University of Ibadan and served as a practicum supervisor at the UI M&E Workshop (July 2018).
Dr. Christopher Godwin Udomboso, a lecturer in the UI Department of Statistics and a co-facilitator of the UI M&E Workshop for Cohort 1).
Dr. Olukayode Stephen Oyatokun is a statistician at the University of Ibadan and served as a practicum supervisor at the UI M&E Workshop (July 2018).
Dr. Jennifer Anyanti is the Deputy Manager Director (Programmes) at the Society for Family Health in Nigeria. She was a guest lecturer at the UI M&E Workshop (July 2018).
Professor Olufunmilayo I. Fawole is a professor of Epidemiology in the Epidemiology and Medical Statistics Department at UI, and has been since 2009. She was a guest lecturer at the UI M&E Workshop (July 2018).
Professor Elizabeth Adenike Emeke has over three decades of experience in monitoring and evaluation in a variety of applications inside and outside of Nigeria. She was a guest lecturer at the UI M&E Workshop (July 2018).
Dr. Sarah Anoke, Former Scientific Director of the McGoldrick Professional Development Program (2017-2018)
This workshop had seven co-instructors (listed above) and several guest lecturers. They each taught several sessions over the course of the week.
