The background of participants was quite heterogeneous, including analysts and managers from several different federal government organizations, from well-known NGOs & international organizations, and students from graduate programs at the University of Botswana.
Instructors
Ms. Batidzirai is a lecturer in statistics at UKZN Pietermaritzburg, as well as a doctoral student. As a McGoldrick Fellow (cohort 1), she led the organization of the M&E Workshop at UKZN (September 2018).
Mr. Robert Keli is an assistant lecturer in mathematical statistics in the Department of Mathematics at Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology in Kenya. He is also a doctoral student in biostatistics at UKZN Pietermaritzburg and was a co-instructor in their M&E Workshop (September 2018).
Mr. Mboya is an applied biostatistician working as an assistant lecturer at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (KCMUCo) in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the Institute of Public Health in Northern Tanzania. He is also a doctoral student in biostatistics at UKZN Pietermaritzburg and served as a co-instructor for their M&E Workshop (September 2018).
Dr. Omololu is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Department of Global Health at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. He also served as a co-instructor at the UKZN Pietermaritzburg M&E Workshop (September 2018).
Ms. Roberts is a statistics lecturer in the School of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at UKZN Pietermaritzburg. She is also a doctoral student in applied statistics at UKZN and served as a co-instructor at their M&E Workshop (September 2018).
Dr. Sarah Anoke, Former Scientific Director of the McGoldrick Professional Development Program (2017-2018)
This workshop had several co-instructors, listed above. They each taught several sessions over the course of the week, as described in the workshop schedule below.
