Maternal and Child Health Center of Excellence

Empowering and equipping future leaders in maternal and child health to make an impact.

As one of just 13 HRSA-funded Centers of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health in the United States, Harvard draws on its tradition of excellence to train future leaders in the field.

Through the Center we conduct research that seeks to deepen our understanding of issues affecting maternal and child health; offer training to public health students and professionals; and provide support and technical assistance to Title V and other MCH organizations with the mission to improve the lives of mothers, children, and families.

A condensed version of our Center’s activities can be found here.

Harvard Chan School students have the opportunity to complete an interdisciplinary concentration in Maternal and Child Health-equipping them with the knowledge base for leadership.

Our faculty train graduate students, conduct ground-breaking research, and educate the world on maternal and child health issues.

From continuing education, to technical assistance, to knowledge management and dissemination the Center of Excellence in MCH boasts a variety of projects.
