David Williams honored for research advocacy

David R. Williams, the Florence Sprague Norman and Laura Smart Norman Professor of Public Health at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and professor of African and African American Studies and Sociology at Harvard University, has been named a 2019 recipient of the Herbert Pardes Family Award for National Leadership in Advocacy for Research. He is among five recipients of awards from Research!America, a public education and advocacy alliance aimed at making research to improve health a higher national priority. The awards recognize leaders in medical and health research advocacy.
