Students attend travel and tourism summit in Saudi Arabia

December 1, 2022 – A delegation from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health’s Department of Environmental Health was on hand for the Global Summit of the World Travel and Tourism Council in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The summit, held from November 28 to December 1, brought together industry leaders and government representatives with the aim of supporting the sector’s recovery while ensuring a safer, more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future.

The Harvard Chan School delegation was led by Ramon Sanchez, research associate, and Linda Tomasso, research fellow. Students who attended the summit included Amelia Wang, SM ’24, Sumedha Sircar, MPH ’22, Phoebe Wen, SM ’24, and Khushi Desai, SM ’24.
