Racism is omnipresent and significantly impacts people and communities of color every day.  Although the negative impact of trauma has long been recognized, the impact of racial trauma has been relatively neglected. This forum discusses racism as a traumatic stressor and provides an overview of clinical interventions aimed at addressing the mental health consequences of racism.
