Rory is a current PhD student at Yale University with an interest in climate change and health outcomes. He plans to conduct research on the health co-benefits of sub-national renewable energy transitions.

Prior to joining Yale, Rory received his Masters of Science in Environmental Health at Harvard University where he focused on mitigating occupational health exposures in both indoor and outdoor environments. After completing his masters, Rory spent time as a youth organizer for environmental and social causes with the Public Interest Research Group. He also led advocacy, research, and programmatic work with the Los Angeles Business Council Institute, encompassing environmental equity, sustainability, housing & homelessness, transportation, and MWBE inclusion. He proudly worked to help pass California’s 100% renewable energy bill SB100 in both capacities.
