Tope Onitiri

Learning Designer

Tope Onitiri is a Learning Designer, working in collaboration with the wider team across the School to meet the goal of delivering an evidence-based educational experience that empower learners to address the public health challenges of the 21st century.

She previously supported faculty with the design, development, and delivery of online academic programs at Arizona State University as well as professional development programs at University of Kansas, Ombuds Office. She also has extensive experience working in International Education programs with focus on Sub- Saharan Africa.

Tope enjoys working at the intersection of design, emerging technology, research in learning sciences, and neuroscience. “Anything is easy if you can assimilate it into your collection of mental models. If you can’t, anything can be painfully difficult” – this maxim, drives her curiosity for designing meaningful learning experiences that foster learners’ self-direction in connecting ideas and integrating new information into their existing knowledge structure.

She enjoys traveling, learning about different cultures, and having a great time unwinding with family.
