The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Teaching Fellow Awards represent a unique opportunity for students to recognize teaching fellows who have demonstrated excellence in partnering with course instructors to deliver high-quality educational experiences.

The nominee must have:

  • Received a high overall rating and positive student comments
  • Special consideration is given to TFs who teach their own individual lab sections

Nomination

Teaching Fellow Awards recognize the important contributions of teaching assistants to education at Harvard Chan and are based on student course evaluations.

Students: To include your course evaluation in this process, it must be submitted by noon on May 10, 2024. (Please note that students may complete their course evaluation after May 10, 2024, but feedback after that date cannot be considered as part of the awarding process.)

Selection

A committee with representatives from the Office for Education, Committee on Educational Policy, and Committee on Admissions and Degrees selects the TF Award winners, based on the above criteria.

The recipient of the Teaching Fellow Award will be announced during our graduation award ceremony.
