Career Exploration series:

To support you in your career exploration efforts, we have decided to organize a panel discussion with people working in and outside academia every month until May 2021 (please see the monthly themes at the bottom of this page).

Research Scientist Panel: Friday 1/29 at 12pm

The first panel in the series will focus on the Research Scientist career track (i.e. another way to stay in academia if you don’t want to become a PI right after your postdoc/research associate position).

Please register and enter your questions for the panelists here. Please note that we won’t be able to record the panel but will share notes with the key takeaways from the discussion, so do not hesitate to register for the event regardless of your ability to attend it.

In February – Exploring Career Options outside Academia – Federal agencies, NGOs, Science diplomacy (TBA)
Please note that there are career resources available for you here, and that you can access the next career workshops and courses organized by the OFA and/or the PDA here.

PDA Poster Day: Thursday 2/18

The Harvard Chan Poster Day is a valuable opportunity for members of the school to engage in interdisciplinary interaction, share their research results, and generate new ideas. This year’s Poster Day will be a virtual event, including opportunities for both asynchronous Q&As and live poster discussion sessions. A call for abstracts will be sent shortly.
