Ministerial Leadership in Health Program

The Ministerial Leadership in Health (MLIH) Program is a joint initiative of the Harvard School of Public Health and the Harvard Kennedy School in collaboration with the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation.

The MLIH Program has the primary goal of recognizing and promoting transformational leadership among ministers of health as an essential element in sustainable health systems strengthening, improved service delivery and better health outcomes. In a unique two phase approach, the MLIH combines ministerial level support with a customized process tailored to the specific needs and priorities of participating countries.
