Hossein Estiri is an associate professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and an investigator at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), where he directs the Clinical Augmented Intelligence Group (CLAI). He is a computational social scientist, data scientist, and clinical informaticist who applies a variety of data science methodologies to develop computational models that explain complex demographic, ecological, and health outcomes. His research group’s focus area is at the intersection of medicine, data science, and phenomenology, to develop enriched computational models of human phenotypes.
