Rema Hanna is the Jeffrey Cheah Professor of South-East Asia Studies, and chair of the International Development Area at the Harvard Kennedy School; and co-director of the Evidence for Policy Design (EPoD) research program at the Center for International Development at Harvard University. From measuring discrimination within education in India, to analyzing data from field experiments that assess the efficacy of various targeting methodologies for social safety net programs, Hanna’s research sheds light on how to improve the provision of public services in developing countries.
