Frederick Lee Hisaw Professor of Reproductive Physiology
Department of Environmental Health, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health

Russ Hauser is the Frederick Lee Hisaw Professor of Reproductive Physiology in the Departments of Environmental Health and Epidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Hauser’s research interests are in the fields of reproductive, perinatal, and pediatric epidemiology. For twenty years, he led the NIH funded Environment and Reproductive Health (EARTH) study that investigated the effects of chemicals classified as endocrine disruptors (i.e., flame retardants, PCBs, DDT, pesticides, phthalates, parabens and phenols) on male and female reproductive health endpoints. He continues to study the effects of maternal and paternal preconception exposures and maternal prenatal exposures to environmental chemicals on children’s health.
