Jenny Reiner is a Project Manager at the Prevention Research Center on Nutrition and Physical Activity at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HPRC). The mission of the HPRC is to work with community partners to develop, evaluate, implement, and disseminate cost-effective strategies that will improve population nutrition and physical activity, reduce obesity and chronic disease, and improve health equity.
As part of the Childhood Obesity Intervention Cost-Effectiveness (CHOICES) Project, Jenny manages the Learning Collaborative Partnership and the national Community of Practice. Jenny organizes and provides training and technical assistance to health agencies to increase their capacity to understand and use cost-effectiveness analysis in decision-making related to obesity prevention. Her key interests include supporting the translation of research into practice and policy change to improve nutrition and physical activity in and across communities, as well as community-based approaches to promote health equity.
Jenny received her Master of Public Health degree in Health Promotion from The George Washington University and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
