COVID-19 Vaccine Acceptance

The EPREP Program is collaborating with Harvard’s Kennedy School  of Government and the Center for University Excellence at American University to understand essential workers’ opinions surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine. A safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine is expected to be developed in record time and may be approved for production, distribution and acceptance some time in 2021. Governments, public health officials and advocacy groups must be prepared to address hesitancy and build vaccine literacy so that the public will accept immunization when appropriate. The EPREP program is focused on understanding essential workers’ concerns about the vaccine. Opinions on vaccine safety, need for the vaccination, risk perceptions and  distribution are focus of this study.
