Overview
I am a Visiting Scientist in cancer epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. My major research focuses on integrative molecular epidemiology approaches to study the complex pathways and risk factors for cancer, and to translate etiologic research into primary and secondary prevention efforts. I am specifically interested in incorporating questionnaire data, biomarkers and outcomes to better understand cancer initiation and progression. My previous research utilizes cohorts from the United States and Europe, with a focus on biomarker studies, including circulating and urinary markers, and inherited genetic alleles. I am particularly interested in investigating circadian disruption as a risk factor for prostate cancer, and particularly for risk of advanced or lethal cancer, as well as to explore mechanisms underlying any association.
