Biography
Teresa Fung, ScD, RD, is an Adjunct Professor of Nutrition at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. As a nutritional epidemiologist, her work focused on examining the associations between various measures of diet quality and diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, weight change, geriatric fractures, and geriatric frailty. She completed a BS and MS in nutrition at Cornell University, and a dual Doctor of Science in epidemiology and nutrition at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health. She is also a Registered Dietitian. Currently, she is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Nutrition, a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and was a member of the 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans Scientific Advisory Committee.
