Information for Student Practicums
Students are responsible for finding, arranging, and completing the practicum. Course instructors, other faculty, the Director of Practice, Michael McCormack, and others at the Harvard Chan School may also provide assistance.
When you identify a project you plan to use for your practicum, you must obtain approval from your practice course instructor for your program prior to confirming the site as a practice placement. To locate existing projects, check with your academic department and review lists of previous student field experiences.
The Office of Education maintains the practice website which lists organizations where Harvard Chan School students have had practice experiences. For questions or more information regarding the website, please contact:
