Aharisi Bonner is an MPH candidate in the department of Health Policy. Prior to Harvard, she obtained her Bachelors in Urban Studies and Sociology from Barnard College, Columbia University. Aharisi’s professional background consists of examining social determinants of health and researching reproductive health policies. She is passionate about health insurance policy and its intersection with reproductive healthcare- specifically, the expansion of Medicaid and insurance payment models.
Aharisi’s project focuses on researching, analyzing, and synthesizing data related to proposed health policies, and recommendations to address racial inequities in maternal health in Massachusetts.
