Jonathan is a MPH-45 student in the department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, with concentrations in Population Mental Health, Maternal & Child Health, and Humanitarian Studies. He is interested in the interplay between mental and physical health for vulnerable populations, especially among pregnant women, racial/sexual minorities, and refugees. Prior to Harvard, he worked in the clinical research and higher-education spheres. He has a BA in Public Health from Brown, and is completing medical school on the Health Equity Track at the University of California, San Diego, with clinical interests in Obstetrics, Palliative Medicine, and Global Health.

Jonathan’s project will assess barriers to care for members of the transgender community receiving impactful gender-affirming therapies.
