Kendra is currently earning her Masters in Public Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in Humanitarian Studies. Previously, Kendra has had roles in hospital administration and community health programming, including most recently working on COVID testing and vaccination program planning. Kendra currently works on research for Harvard Humanitarian Initiative looking at the relationship between climate change, conflict and disaster preparedness in Bangsamoro, Philippines. Kendra’s interests lie in disaster risk reduction, localization and monitoring & evaluation in health programs for humanitarian crises response.

Kendra’s project will be in partnership with Crisis Management Association, a Greek non-profit that provides medical services to refugees and asylum seekers in the Mavrovouni Camp. Kendra will specifically analyze and evaluate Crisis Management Association’s localization model to understand the impact of localization on the organization’s humanitarian response.
