Rose Service Learning Fellow

Maggie Weese is a joint Master’s degree student in Public Health and Urban Planning at Harvard University. Prior to coming to Harvard, she worked as a program associate at the SAGE Fund, a collaborative fund working to strengthen human rights accountability for economic actors and address critical gaps in protection created by the global economy. Maggie earned a Bachelor’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, minoring in Environmental Science and Social Policy.

Maggie’s project aims to evaluate DHCD’s emergency rental and mortgage assistance programs using an equity lens to determine to what extent program outcomes differ based on gender, race, ethnicity, language, or other factors. In addition to evaluating program distribution and reach, Maggie will work with EDI staff to identify potential gaps in coverage. This evaluation will inform the Commonwealth’s future programming and policy creation.
