Maleeka Shrestha

Rose Service Learning Fellow

Maleeka is an international student from Nepal in the Master of Public Health program in Social and Behavioral Sciences. She comes from a biomedical and psychosocial research background and has key interests in mental health and maternal child health. Maleeka is passionate about global health equity, specifically increasing access to high-quality medical care in the global majority.

Maleeka’s project will be conducted in partnership with Crisis Management Association, a Greek non-profit that offers medical services to refugees and asylum seekers. Maleeka will specifically analyze and evaluate CMA’s localization efforts to understand the impact of localization on the organization’s humanitarian response.
