Research

Data synthesis to improve medical treatment and understand disease pathogenesis in HIV/AIDS.

My research areas are clinical trials of new HIV therapeutics, collaborative laboratory-based investigations especially on measures of HIV persistence and statistical modeling with application to HIV, such as models for viral rebound after ART withdrawal, which is key endpoint for interventions aiming to reduce HIV reservoirs or to improve anti-HIV immune responses.
