Implementing and Evaluating Risk-Based Cancer Screening in Practice

Katharine Rendle, PHD, MSW, MPH will be speaking about “Implementing and Evaluating Risk-Based Cancer Screening in Practice: Opportunities, Challenges, and Equity.”

Risk-based approaches to cancer screening are promising given the potential to increase benefits and decrease risks but also come with additional challenges with regard to implementation and equity. Drawing upon work in lung and cervical cancer screening, Dr. Katharine Rendle will discuss opportunities and challenges to using risk-based approaches to improve population health and decrease persistent disparities in cancer care.
