Please join Harvard Chan’s Women, Gender & Health Interdisciplinary Concentration (WGH) and the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights in welcoming Dr. Brittney Buttler who will be leading a discussion on reproductive justice and carceral states. This event will focus on how carceral states undermine reproductive justice rights for birthing people in the U.S. During our time we will use a critical and interdisciplinary lens to understand what can be done to mitigate the harms of these systems for those formerly and currently impacted, and how to begin to dismantle these systems to improve population health from a policy, research, organizing and community building perspective.

Please note: while seating is limited (first come first serve basis), dinner options will be available for all in-person attendees.

This event is hosted by WGH and the FXB Center at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and is open to the public. All are welcome!
