Arjumand Siddiqi, ScD is a Social Epidemiologist, whose research centers on understanding how societal conditions produce health inequalities. She is Professor and Division Head of Epidemiology at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, where she holds the Canada Research Chair in Population Health Equity. At the University of Toronto, Siddiqi is also Co-Director of the Thematic Program in Inequity at the Data Science Institute, and holds appointments in the Department of Sociology, the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, and the Women and Gender Studies Institute. She is the recipient of the 2022 Mid-Career Trailblazer Award from the Canadian Institutes for Health Research, Institute of Population and Public Health. Siddiqi received her doctorate from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
