Mx. LB MooreClinical Research Assistant, Boston Children‘s Hospital, Division of Adolescent/Young Adult Medicine

LB (they/them or ze/zir) is affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital as a team member and data analyst with the Trans Teen and Family Narratives Project (PI: Sabra Katz-Wise). Outside of this research work, they primarily serve the community as a behavioral health clinician, educator, and non-profit program manager working with LGBTQ+ youth, youth of color, and people living with HIV. LB holds two Master of Education degrees from Boston University: one in Physical Education and Coaching and one in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Sports and Performance Psychology. Their research interests focus on a range of experiences for transgender and non-binary people, including: intersectional resilience, rural healthcare, physical activity and sport, spirituality, sexuality and relationships, and holistic wellness. LB is a white, non-binary Jew with disabilities who is passionate about racial justice, meaningful relationships with other creatures, and getting enough sleep.
