Dr. Gooding is an adolescent medicine specialist in the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, an internist in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.  She is also on the faculty of the Harvard Macy Institute, a leading provider of professional development programs for academic leaders in health care, and an advisor to students with interest in careers in medical education.  Dr. Gooding’s work centers on innovative educational techniques for improving the health of adolescents and young adults.  She is currently the principal investigator of a study funded by the NHLBI which examines adolescent behaviors associated with healthy aging.  She received her master’s degree in medical science from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health and her medical degree from the University of California San Francisco.
