- Ms. Allison Baker is a PhD Student, Population Health Sciences, concentrating in Social and Behavioral Sciences, at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Her research interests include cultural meanings of health and illness, individual experiences living with chronic illness, and the intersection of these with health communication. Her dissertation research uses mixed methods to study the role of new media in the health of emerging adults. She has worked on several projects in the Viswanath Lab, most recently “Building Public Agenda and Policy Support for Public Health.”
Allison holds a Master of Public Health degree in community health and prevention from Drexel University.
