Eric Coles is a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) candidate at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health who researches how to translate happiness into public policies. After studying economics for his bachelors degree, Eric was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco (’09-’11). He then studied public administration at the London School of Economics, where he got his first glimpse of public health while evaluating a childhood malnutrition center in India during the summer. Previously, Eric worked at the National Institutes of Health as a policy analyst and connected NIH funding priorities with disease burden data. Eric now hopes to promote wellbeing as a public policy objective around the world.
