October 30th, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Former Canadian Health Minister Jane Philpott is calling for an overhaul of the Canadian health care system. Following the pandemic, Canada, much like the U.S., is facing a shortage of primary care providers and lengthy wait times for procedures. Philpott, who is now Dean of Health Sciences at Queenā€™s University, is looking to post-secondary education to drive innovation in health care reform. In this Q&A, weā€™ll discuss ways to improve health outcomes through primary care teams, improved access to health data, and government accountability.Ā Ā
