Tian-Shin Yeh, MD, MMS, PhD, is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), and a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Epidemiology and Nutrition at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with Professors Walter Willett, Alberto Ascherio, and Marc Weisskopf, and the Harvard-Oxford Program in Epidemiology with Professor David Hunter. She received her PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from Harvard University (2016-2020) under the mentorship of Professor Deborah Blacker.
Dr. Yeh’s research interest is in aging. Her current research examines how risk factors impact neurodegenerative diseases using large prospective cohorts, such as the association between long-term nutrition and cognitive decline in the Nurses’ Health Study (NHS) and Health Professionals Follow-up Study (HPFS); and the association between diabetes mellitus and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in the Maccabi Healthcare Services (MHS) study. Dr. Yeh is also working on polygenic risk score analysis for diseases, such as cancers, using the UK Biobank Data.
