Alli Probst is a PhD student in the Biological Sciences in Public Health program. Her research is focused on identifying and characterizing antimalarial drug targets during the mosquito-stages of Plasmodium falciparum development. By targeting parasites in their Anopheles mosquito vector, Alli hopes to uncover essential parasite biology that can be exploited for novel malaria transmission blocking strategies.
