Tackling the loneliness epidemic: A Q&A with Sen. Chris Murphy

Social isolation and loneliness have emerged as a public health crisis, with links to elevated risks of cardiovascular disease, dementia, stroke, depression, and anxiety. U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) is calling for a public policy response — including proposing an Office of Social Connection Policy in the White House. During this event, Sen. Murphy will share his ideas and answer your questions about new approaches to ease social isolation.
