Abebe Bekele Belayneh is HaSET’s Health Systems Research Advisor. He was the director of health system research at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute (EPHI) until May 2020 where he was responsible for managing health system and reproductive health research activities and ensuring that they generate evidence-based knowledge which supports the efforts of Ministry of Health (MoH) to improve the health of the population.
Achieving quality health is a product of delivering quality health services to the population. Abebe Bekele Belayneh is dedicated to conduct community-based participatory research that actively engages multiple stakeholders in the research planning, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination process to enhance the likelihood that the work will be sustained and replicated across the country.
