Biruk Hailu

Biruk Hailu is an implementation fellow at the HaSET MNCH research program and has a Master’s in public health with a specialty in Reproductive and Family health, from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, School of Public health, Addis Ababa University. He is a Midwife with a background, spent most of his career years with mothers and children in rural parts of the SNNPRs of Ethiopia, and exposed to different MNCH programs at their application level. Besides, he worked as a clinician, SRH expert, Midwife mentor that help other medium and low-level health professionals with maternal and child health-related services. Currently, he is working at the Ministry of the health of Ethiopia as a health professionals’ competency assessment expert, SRH advocate, and Midwives education quality improvement national committee member for the Ethiopian Midwives Association. He has two basic research works at the pipeline for publication and is working as an editor and author on a Book chapter on medical licensure examination of Ethiopia in collaboration with Addis Ababa University, Institute for Educational research.
