Funmi is a student researcher with HaSET in Boston and will be conducting secondary data analysis for BARNARDS study. She is an MPH student at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is in the Quantitative Methods Track with a concentration in infectious diseases. Her prior experience spans across six years of clinical medicine and public health practice in Nigeria. For more than three years, she worked on a USAID-funded project and successfully implemented various HIV treatment and PMTCT interventions in Nigeria. She is passionate about reducing the burden of infectious diseases among children in low- and middle-income countries, through research. Her research interests include antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases, maternal and child health.
