Sachi Inoue is a data analyst for the HaSET team and is based in Boston. She focuses on supporting data collection and analysis activities, along with building data capacity and partnering with implementation and operations staff. Sachi recently graduated with her MPH in Epidemiology and a certificate in Public Health Research Methods from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. While there, she conducted data analysis for a validation study on a brief version of an alcohol screening tool for community-based and clinic-based screening efforts for high-risk populations in Zambia. She also worked on national cross-sectional surveys exploring the relationship between experiences of intimate partner violence on HIV-related health-seeking outcomes. She is especially interested in public health implementation science in low- and middle-income countries and epidemiological methods to ensure consistent and accurate data. Sachi grew up in the Philippines and graduated from the University of Rochester with her BS in Microbiology. In her free time, Sachi cooks, fosters cats, and explores her local community for the best cheap eats.
