Myriam Hunink, MD, PhD

Dr. Myriam Hunink is Professor of Clinical Epidemiology and Radiology at the Erasmus University Medical Center Rotterdam and Adjunct Professor of Health Decision Science at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In addition, she is the Director of the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences at Erasmus MC. Her  research interests include technology assessment  of imaging biomarkers and image-guided therapies, computerized decision support for evidence-based use of imaging tests, optimizing the design of RCTs for non-pharmaceutical interventions, and evaluating the effects of lifestyle interventions that alleviate chronic stress and prevent burnout among healthcare professionals.

Dr. Hunink earned her MD from the University of Leiden, trained as a radiologist in Amsterdam, and received her PhD in clinical decision analysis from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. She completed training in cardiovascular radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School and a research fellowship in decision sciences at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
