After earning my MD degree in Community Medicine from India, I have been working as a physician for the last six years. Thanks to this experience, I developed my skills of responsibility and leadership which further helped me to explore my passion for public health.
During the pandemic I spearheaded the Covid-19 vaccination drive at district level in 2021, which resulted in hundreds of people getting vaccinated. My research has been mainly focused in the fields of maternal, child and adolescent health, geriatric health, and non-communicable diseases. Recently, I was appointed as District Nodal Officer for verification of Sub-national Certification of TB-elimination efforts in India, which was a countrywide project conducted jointly by WHO-ICMR-IAPSM-NIRT India.
I believe in the idea of health equity and aim to promote inclusion, communication, and collaboration to transform it into reality.
