Annie Haakenstad, Ph.D.

Annie Haakenstad completed her doctorate at Harvard in 2019.  Annie’s research focuses on financial risk protection, resource allocation, and health financing in low- and middle-income countries.  Previously, Annie worked at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation and consulted for the World Bank, UNICEF, the UN Environment Programme, and the UN Offices at Geneva.  Annie received her Bachelors in International Affairs from the George Washington University and her Masters in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute. On the India project, Annie focuses on financial risk protection.
